Alice Yard
Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago
Alice Yard is a contemporary art collective and residency program in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, hosting artists, curators, and creative practitioners since 2008 to work within their network and explore the local art scene. The program is informal and flexible, with stays ranging from days to months, providing modest living and working space, logistical support, and collaborator access, though temporarily paused in 2020 due to construction with recent virtual residencies offered. It draws inspiration from Trinidad's communal yard spaces and mas camps, fostering self-determination and exchange.
