What we collect

When you create an account or submit a review, we collect the information you provide directly: your name, email address, reviews, ratings, and any photos you upload. We do not collect information beyond what is necessary to operate the platform.

How we use your data

To display your reviews and profile on the platform
To send transactional emails (account confirmation, review notifications)
To improve the platform based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns

Authentication

We use Supabase Auth for account management. Your password is hashed and stored securely. We never have access to your plaintext password.

Payment processing

For paid features, we use Stripe to process payments. Your payment information is handled directly by Stripe and never touches our servers. Please refer to Stripe's privacy policy for details.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel to understand how visitors use the site. These services may set cookies on your browser. You can opt out by using browser extensions or adjusting your cookie settings.

We also use essential cookies required for authentication and session management.

Email

We use Resend to deliver transactional emails. We will never sell your email address or send unsolicited marketing without your consent.

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to:

Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Rectification — correct any inaccurate personal data
Deletion — request that we delete your account and associated data
Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
Objection — object to processing of your personal data

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized reviews may remain on the platform.
