The Classic residency lasts 13 weeks, during which residents focus on individual practice, conduct research, experiment with clay, and exchange with fellow artists, advisors and staff. Facilities include spacious studios, advanced kilns and CAD/CAM machinery, a soundlab, glazing room, plaster room, well-stocked library, and individual apartments with shared kitchen. Residents range from emerging to established, and from beginners to those experienced with ceramics.
