Green Olive Arts, located in Tetouan, Morocco, is dedicated to fostering creativity and collaboration among artists from Morocco and around the world. By providing high-quality production spaces and professional services, the residency supports artists across various disciplines, including visual arts, writing, filmmaking, and more, for 3 or 6-week residencies. Artists benefit from a comprehensive array of services, including WIFI, access to local craftsmen, promotional support, and cultural immersion activities such as tours of the ancient medina and artist lunches. Although artist-funded, Green Olive Arts offers reduced fees for Moroccan artists and does not include housing, recommending vetted local options instead. Equipment available includes printmaking presses, encaustic tools, and woodworking tools, among others, and the program is designed to be self-directed, with additional paid services available for those seeking deeper local engagement.
