Isla de Crear is a creative center located in Úbeda, Andalusia, Spain, that offers artist residencies for creatives from various disciplines. The center encourages exploration and creation outside of commercial constraints, based on the principles of the Fantasism manifesto. Residencies are available for 4, 6, or 8 weeks, with start dates in April and August. Participants receive private en-suite bedrooms and access to shared living spaces and multiple workspaces, including studios for dance, woodworking, and metalworking. The program emphasizes experimentation and interdisciplinary collaboration, with no requirement for a final exhibition or performance. A participation fee of €250 per week covers accommodation and utilities.
