The No Lugar Artist Residency, located in Quito, Ecuador, brings together visual artists, curators, researchers, and cultural agents from Ecuador and around the world. It provides a space for these individuals to develop research and production processes, including setting up ephemeral exhibitions as part of their creative exploration. Since its inception in 2011, No Lugar has worked with over 90 artists, curators, researchers, and cultural actors from the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Oceania. The residency program is committed to stimulating the production and visibility of diverse cultural agents. It aims to contribute to the integration of Latin American contemporary art on an international level. No Lugar offers an enriching environment where artists and curators can engage in meaningful artistic practices, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas and perspectives. This program serves as a catalyst for artistic development and international dialogue in contemporary art.
