Onassis AiR, established in Athens, Greece, in 2019 by the Onassis Foundation, is a pioneering Artistic Research, Residency & Fellowship Program designed to support arts professionals from various disciplines. It offers a unique environment for artists to explore their practices deeply without the pressure of producing a final work. Emphasizing artistic research and process, Onassis AiR has grown into a vibrant hub for cross-disciplinary exchange, operating as a mycelium-like network within the Onassis ecosystem and beyond. The program encourages artistic experimentation, speculative practices, and non-linear storytelling, fostering a community of peer-to-peer interconnection and knowledge sharing.
