Taattinen Residency is a material-driven platform located at Taattinen Farm in Naantali, Finland. It focuses on exploring the possibilities of local Finnish clay and offers an inspiring space for artists, ceramicists, and designers to experiment with this natural material. The residency supports ecological and local ceramic practices, encouraging innovative manufacturing methods and conceptual exploration. Each year, the residency hosts 3-5 artists for a 30-day program, providing access to a fully equipped ceramics workshop and private accommodations. Residents engage in self-led projects and are expected to participate in community workshops, with the resulting works exhibited in the farm’s gallery space.
