The Good Hatchery was an artist-led residency program and experimental art space founded in by graduates of Ireland's National College of Art and Design, located in the rural boglands of North Offaly near Croghan Hill. It hosted artists through invitations and open calls for residencies, on-site projects, exhibitions, and discussions, challenging norms of contemporary art production until closing its residential studios after 9 years.
