Tirana Art Lab (TAL) is a leading independent contemporary art institution in Albania, founded in 2010 by Adela Demetja. The center focuses on promoting both emerging and established artists from Albania and the broader regions of Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe. TAL is dedicated to process and research-oriented projects, including residencies, exhibitions, workshops, performances, lectures, and publications. The organization fosters critical and reflective thought, supporting new productions by artists engaged in cultural and social issues. Although TAL currently lacks a permanent physical location, it continues to collaborate with local and international partners to deliver impactful art projects and programs. Over the years, TAL has built a reputation for its innovative approach and significant contributions to contemporary art.
