About

Zoma Contemporary Art Center (ZCAC) is an eco-sensitive, educational artist-in-residence village in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, co-founded by artist Elias Sime and Meskerem Assegued, featuring architecture built with traditional techniques and recycled materials. It serves as a museum, garden, and residency space that inspires artists through sustainability, material innovation, and integration of tradition with contemporary practice, particularly suiting installation artists and sculptors. The program fosters knowledge exchange, hosts workshops with international artists, and integrates residents into Ethiopia's creative networks.
